Bordeaux was our first stop in France. We had heard that it was a pretty town so decided to spend 
a day and a half there and then pick up our rental car.
There were some lovely buildings and of course a church., but one thing out of the ordinary was a water misting feature over a large square which you can walk through surrounded by gorgeous colourful lanterns which makes the water look spectacular at night.
Unfortunately it rained which made our second day a bit disappointing. To get o
ut of the rain we decided to go to the movies and we saw The Dark Knight, it was pretty good for a batman movie, totally not my cup of tea but I managed to keep my eyes open. Pretty freaky watching it knowing that Heath’s no longer though…
